Today, reading came to life in 186!
Clifford the Big Red Dog made a BIG visit to 186 today, stopping by four of our schools to meet our newest principals and the incredible students and staff at Enos Elementary, Harvard Park Elementary, Laketown Elementary and Matheny-Withrow Elementary!
The smiles? UNREAL. From high-fives in the hallways to dancing with Clifford, students were all smiles as they got to meet one of their favorite storybook characters in real life.
Dr. Jordan even joined Clifford for a special read-aloud of Clifford the Big Red Dog, bringing the story off the page and right into our schools.
Today was a wonderful reminder of what happens when we make reading fun, memorable and real for students.
A HUGE thank you to our partners at Scholastic for helping make this special day possible. Together, we’re making reading come to life for our students, one BIG smile at a time!
