The future of medicine is in 186!
Last night, freshmen from Lanphier High School Springfield Southeast High School and Springfield High School - Illinois were inducted into the McNeese P4: Physician Pipeline Preparatory Program and received their white coats! ![]()
Superintendent Dr. Jordan, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Filipiak and administrators from each high school joined in celebrating these students as they take an exciting first step toward exploring careers in medicine.
In partnership with SIU School of Medicine, P4 gives students a unique, four-year experience from freshman through senior year, introducing them to medical school coursework, research, job shadowing, laboratory experiences, college planning and mentorship from medical professionals.
Through hands-on learning and exposure to the medical field, students build the knowledge and skills to help prepare them for future opportunities in health care.
Congratulations to all our newly inducted P4 students! We are proud of you for taking this step, embracing new opportunities and investing in your future. We can't wait to see where your journey takes you!
