• Good morning, Springfield High! Today is Tuesday, January 13th

  • After School Tutoring is offered Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.  in Room 214

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays the  Peace Room is  open and available to students for support in the Guidance Office-8:30-9am and 11:30-2pm. 

  • City is just around the corner and T-shirts are in the final planning stages and getting their finishing touches. City T-shirt order forms will be out beginning today at lunch in both the main office and Mr Kramer’s office. A four pack of shirts and rally towel will cost $45. Orders are due to Mr Kramer by TOMORROW, Tuesday. If you would like to order and need to pay later, please speak to Mr Kramer. If we get enough sales to lower shirt prices, partial refunds will be given. Everyone who purchases shirts will also be put in a seeing for free tickets to city. So encourage everyone to help Springfield High keep their Spirit Award home at SHS and show your Senator pride!

  • Springfield High is beginning prep on their Black History Month celebrations. If you would be interested in representing SHS in our History Bowl competition against the other schools or want to be involved in planning and execution of our BHM school assembly, see Mr Kramer or send him an email!

  • The Sadie’s Dance will be here before we know it! The dance this year will be February 21  Sadie’s is the only other dance that all students are able to attend. Get it in your calendars and come out for a laid back and fun night. 

  • Hey students! Looking for something fun to do in January? Don’t miss the Superintendent’s Student Roundtable's Unity Day 2026 on Saturday, January 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Bank of Springfield Center, lower level.

Unity Day is all about bringing students together from Springfield, Southeast, Lanphier, and Sacred Heart–Griffin for a high-energy afternoon of connection, community, and school pride before the final games of City Tournament.

  • Seniors - Local scholarships are coming open and are ready for you to apply. If you are attending LLCC next year, you have until Feb 15th to complete their application. Everyone should check the opportunities for the Community Foundation for Land of Lincoln, CFLL, as there are 24 opportunities for SHS students to apply to. Check canvas for more info.

  • If you are attending Hamlet in Chicago on 1/30 please plan on attending a brief meeting Thurs after school in Mrs. Eaton's room 356.

  • SHS 8th Graders and their parents are invited to Preview Night at SHS! Join us on Thursday, January 15th at 6:00 p.m. in the Schnirring Auditorium for a brief introduction, then walk the halls and visit classrooms to learn about life next year at Springfield High School!

  • There will be a Feminist Club meeting Today after school in Mrs. Eaton's new room 356. 

  • Plant Club will meet on Today 1/13 from 3:20-4 in Ms. Reinders room, 516.  Join us if you can, everyone is welcome
