The Springfield High Senators bounced back in a big way on Tuesday night, rolling past Springfield Southeast 74–45 on their home floor. Determined to respond after a gut-wrenching loss to Quincy, the Senators came out firing, knocking down a season-high 10 three-pointers in the first half to seize control early. Logan Peach led the way with 17 points, while Elijah Wade added 15 points, helping pace a balanced and confident offensive attack. The win pushed the Varsity squad to 3–0 at home and reinforced the toughness and resilience of this group.
The night was made even better by a thrilling performance from the JV Senators, who pulled off a stunning come-from-behind victory against the Spartans. EJ Washington and freshman Jacob Scheffler led the charge, providing key scoring and energy as the JV rallied late to secure the win. The Senators are back in action Friday night versus SHG, as both levels look to carry this momentum forward.
And Now the Pledge of Allegiance:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. (Moment of Silence)
